What's the difference between a secure and standard server?
A secure
server encrypts the information being transmitted using a secure
(SSL) connection. When you log in to MyAquent, you can choose to use
a secure or standard connection. We encourage everyone to use the
secure connection to MyAquent. However, individuals using some
browser versions, as well as users behind some firewalls, may have
difficulties using SSL.
If you'd like to install an SSL-capable browser, IE and Firefox are freely available to private users at the following URLs:
IE - http://www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/ie/getitnow.mspx
Firefox - http://www.getfirefox.com
We apologize
for any inconvenience you may experience if you have problems with
SSL, but we feel it's important to provide and promote a secure
application for the majority of users.
